There are so many words, from so many voices that it is hard to keep track of who said what, and what means what and so on…
Each side tells a different story and each side has its own, unique perspective… but there are some things we must not forget.
1) Hamas is a terrorist organization, as defined by the US and most governments around the world.
2) This war is not one against Islam or the Palestinians, it is a war against the group responsible for launching over 6,000 rockets and mortars and missiles into Israel over the last two years.
3) Like Hamas and similar in ideology and beliefs, it was Al Qaida, another terrorist group, who bombed the World Trade Center… and it is Hamas and its followers, including women and children, who danced and sang with utter joy as 9/11 unfolded. How quickly we forget that.
Yet people seem to deny all of that. Hatred of the Jews and Israel seem to make people feel sorry for those who just a day before vowed to kill every last one of them. Listen to the speeches on Arab radio. Look at Arab leaders as they talk to the masses. They want to kill every last one of us. “Death to Israel, death to America,” they shout and scream with venom in their voices.
Hello… do we really feel sorry for these people?
My brain is about to explode with the commentary from the Vatican, comparing Gaza to a concentration camp. The UN security council accusing Israel of war crimes… not Hamas using women and children as human shields, but Israel.
